The best Etsy review apps for Shopify, compared
Search the Shopify App Store for "Etsy reviews" and you get a handful of apps that all promise the same sentence. They are not the same product. The differences that matter are whether buyer photos come across, whether reviews can be matched to individual products, and what happens to your storefront speed. Here is the comparison, including our own app and where it is the weaker choice.

What actually separates these apps
Every app in this category imports reviews and shows them in a widget. Judge those claims as table stakes and compare on the four things that change the result:
- Product-level matching — can a review be attached to the specific Shopify product it was written about, or does every product page show the same shop-wide feed? Generic feeds convert far worse.
- Buyer photos — customer images are the most persuasive part of an Etsy review, especially for handmade, personalised and gift products. Some apps import text only.
- How the widget renders — reviews rendered into the page HTML are readable by search engines and appear on first paint. Reviews injected by JavaScript after load, or trapped in an iframe, are neither.
- Sync frequency — a one-off import goes stale the day you earn your next review.
Price barely matters here. The gap between the cheapest and the dearest app in this list is a few pounds a month, which one extra converted order covers.
The apps, side by side
| App | Price | Rating (reviews) | Notable |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reputon Etsy Reviews | $6.99/mo or $62.99/yr | 4.9 (318) | The established option — by far the largest review base, Built for Shopify badge, Share & Save support. |
| Etsy Reviews — FSL | $4.99/mo, 14-day trial | 5.0 (16) | Cheapest, longest trial, CDN-delivered widgets, per-listing import. |
| GA: Etsy Reviews Importer + AI | Free | 4.6 (15) | No cost at all, and it can also collect new reviews from your own customers. |
| Boostify Etsy Reviews Importer | $5.99/mo, 7-day trial | 4.9 (3) | Seven theme blocks, buyer photos, Judge.me reviews in the same widget, shop badge with sold count. |
| Kudobuzz Product Reviews & UGC | From $19.99/mo | 4.4 (139) | Multi-source — Google, Amazon and others as well as Etsy. Overkill if you only need Etsy. |
| Judge.me | Free plan available | 5.0 (42,000+) | Not an Etsy importer as such, but the standard review platform. Accepts CSV imports and pairs with an Etsy sync app. |
Which one should you pick?
- You want the safest bet — Reputon. 318 reviews and a Built for Shopify badge is a track record none of the rest can claim yet, ours included.
- You want it free — GA: Etsy Reviews Importer + AI. Nothing to lose beyond setup time.
- You are on a tight budget but want a proper trial — Etsy Reviews FSL at $4.99 with 14 days.
- Your reviews are full of buyer photos, or you already use Judge.me — Boostify. The photo wall and the Judge.me-plus-Etsy shared carousel are the two things this app does that the others do not.
- You import from Google, Amazon and Etsy at once — Kudobuzz, if the price is justified by the extra sources.
Being straight about our own listing: Boostify Etsy Reviews Importer has three reviews on the App Store. If a long public track record is what you need before installing anything, Reputon is the honest recommendation. If the photo wall, per-product matching and the Judge.me carousel are what you actually need, take the 7-day trial and judge the app rather than the review count.
Things to test during a trial
- Install it on your live theme, not a copy, and check the widget on a phone. Most review widgets look fine on desktop and cramped on mobile, which is where most of your traffic is.
- Open a product page and confirm the reviews shown belong to that product.
- Check a product with no Etsy reviews yet — does it fall back gracefully, or leave a hole in the page?
- Run the page through PageSpeed Insights before and after. A widget that adds a second to your Largest Contentful Paint costs more conversions than the reviews win back.
- Leave it a day and confirm a new Etsy review actually syncs.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free app that imports Etsy reviews?
Yes — GA: Etsy Reviews Importer + AI is free. Judge.me also has a free plan and will accept a CSV of reviews you have prepared yourself, though it does not sync from Etsy on its own.
Can I use two review apps at once?
You can, and some sellers do: one app for reviews collected on Shopify, another for imported Etsy reviews. Watch out for two widgets stacking on the same product page, and for the performance cost of loading both.
Do any of them put star ratings in Google search results?
Not reliably, and be sceptical of anyone claiming otherwise. Google's structured-data guidelines exclude most reviews republished from a third-party platform from product rich results. Imported reviews earn their keep on the page, not in the SERP.
What happens to the reviews if I uninstall?
The widgets stop rendering, and with most apps the imported data goes with it. Since the source of truth is your Etsy shop, re-importing later is not a disaster — but do not treat any of these apps as a backup of your review history.
