AboutSince 2020

A UK Shopify app developer.

Boostify is one person: a Shopify Partner who builds apps for the App Store and takes on custom theme, app and integration work for merchants. Every line of code is written by the person you talk to.

What I hold to

Six things that decide how the work gets done.

01

Performance first

Lightweight scripts, lazy loading, small footprint. An app should not be the reason a storefront drops out of the 90s.

02

Merchant-centric

Features that solve a problem a merchant actually has, rather than a feature list that reads well on a listing page.

03

Reliability

Production-grade code that holds through BFCM traffic instead of falling over on the busiest day of the year.

04

Clean code

Documented, maintainable and handed over in full. Custom work leaves you with something you own, not a dependency on me.

05

Current with the platform

Shopify moves quickly — app extensions, Functions, checkout extensibility. Keeping up with it is part of the job.

06

Quick, not rushed

Most app projects ship in two to four weeks, with check-ins along the way rather than a reveal at the end.

Working together

You talk to the person writing the code. No account manager in between, no handover to a team you have not met.

Scopes are fixed before work starts, the code is yours at the end, and support questions get answered within a day.
